Evansville Bank Called ‘Generous’

The contributed $250,000 toward Creekside Place, a community and senior center. Bank president Chris Eager chairs the initiative’s fundraising campaign. Baylake Reaches Out to Community

A Holiday Gift Tree will be displayed at Baylake Bank Conference Center in Sturgeon Bay through Dec. 17, the Door County Advocate reported. -
PNC Foundation Gives to Non-Profits

The museum will receive a $230,000 five-year grant to create new learning spaces for young children. As part of PNC’s “Grow Up Great” initiative, another $135,000 was split among other nonprofits, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported. -
Loyal Bank Contributes to Incubator
Posted on October 1st, 2010 No commentsCitizens State Bank of Loyal presented a check for $25,000 to be used for the creation of the Central Wisconsin Agribusiness Innovation Center, being planned for northern Clark County. The business incubator will serve emerging companies in agribusiness, renewable energy, biotechnology, food processing and related industries, according to Wisconsin Ag Connection.

Beloit Bank Donates School Supplies

Community members, employees and customers dropped off donations at all 13 of the bank’s locations during the month of August, according to the Rockford Register Star.

Marshfield Savings to Change Name

There currently are four Forward Financial Bank locations in the central Wisconsin area, with a fifth location in Medford expected to open Oct. 4, the Wausau Daily Herald reported.

Sterling Bank Awards 12 Scholarships

Three students each from Barron, Chetek, Luck and Rice Lake High Schools were chosen to receive $1,000 each during the bank’s 125th anniversary year, WQOW Channel 18 in Eau Claire reported.

Wisconsin Banks Still Owe TARP

Wis. Bankers Teach Children About Saving
