Associated Included in Class-Action Suit

Other banks in the lawsuit include bank of America, Citibank, JPMorgan Chase, Union Bank, U.S. Bank, Wachovia and Wells Fargo, the Wisconsin State Journal reported.

Chase Positioned to Compete with PNC

On the retail side, Chase is hiring more bankers, loan officers and small-business bankers, and it recently introduced envelope-free ATMs and mobile banking services, according to an article in the Milwaukee Business Journal.

Swearing Off Credit Has Downside Too

Federal Law Brings Changes in Overdraft Fees

Banks, UW-Extension Offer ‘Get Checking’
Posted on January 10th, 2010 No commentsUniversity of Wisconsin-Extension offices and Wisconsin banks are teaming up to help give troubled consumers a second chance at having a checking account, the Wisconsin Rapids Tribune reported. Residents of Adams, Marathon, Waushara, Waupaca and Wood counties can pay $10 to participate in the three-hour Get Checking Program. Upon completion, they receive a certificate they can bring to a sponsoring bank.

Wisconsin Ranks High on Auto Loan Scores

Wisconsin ranked first in the nation in average credit score for used vehicle loans, with 733, according to a quarterly analysis of automotive credit by Experian Automotive. New Rule for Overdraft Fees Takes Effect June 1
