Park Bank Promotes Werner to President

David P. Werner has been promoted to president of Park Bank in Milwaukee. Werner has been with the bank since 1989. He assumes the president title previously held by P. Michael Mahoney, Park Bank’s chairman and chief executive. Mahoney will remain chairman and CEO, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Evergreen State Bank Hires EVP

Evergreen State Bank, Janesville, hired Mark Schubring as executive vice president and chief credit officer, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Appleton Bank Names New VP

The Business Bank has hired Christopher Allen as vice president of the bank’s Appleton location. Allen has more than 10 years of banking experience, a bachelor’s degree in economics and an MBA from Marquette University, according to the Appleton-Post Crescent.

Associated Hires Exec VP, Strategy Officer

Oliver Buechse, an executive of Union Bank in San Francisco, has been appointed executive vice president, chief strategy officer, of Green Bay-based Associated Banc-Corp. Falbo Named CEO of Nebraska Bank

Former Associated Bank and State Financial Services executive Michael Falbo has been named chairman and CEO of TierOne Corp. in Lincoln, Neb., the Milwaukee Business Journal reported.

New CEO Named at Thrivent

Effective Feb. 1, Brad Hewitt will become the new CEO of Thrivent Financial, based in Appleton, Wis. The former chief operating officer replaces Bruce Nicholson, who retires Feb. 1 after 27 years of service to the company, according to a Thrivent news release.

Community Bank & Trust Announces Promotion

Community Bank & Trust has promoted Toni Reed to president at the Elkhart Lake office. Reed has been with Community Bank & Trust for five years and has a total of more than 18 years in the banking industry, the Sheboygan Press reported.

The newspaper also reported that Tom Steinhaus, manager of credit underwriting/government guaranteed loans for Heartland Business Bank, has been named an officer of the bank.
