Correspondent Banker Ron Grady Dies at Age 70
Posted on April 2nd, 2010 No commentsRon Grady, a long-time correspondent officer for Bankers’ Bank in Madison, died March 31 at age 70. Grady, of Fort Atkinson, Wis., also worked for Thorp Finance Corporation, Commercial State Bank in Madison, Citizen’s State Bank in Fort Atkinson and First Wisconsin National Bank of Madison. Valley Bancorporation Founder Zuehlke Dies
Posted on October 8th, 2009 No commentsGus Zuehlke Sr. joined the small Appleton (Wis.) State Bank after World War II, becoming president and founding Valley Bancorporation. Over the years Valley acquired more than 160 banks and branches before it was bought in 1993 by Marshall & Ilsley Bancorporation. Zuehlke died Oct. 5, 2009, at the age of 87.
