Exec at Park Bank Milwaukee to Retire

Ahrens Named COO of The PrivateBank

Ahrens joined The PrivateBank, of Chicago, in October 2007 and most recently served as chief strategy and marketing officer, the Milwaukee Business Journal reported.

Carl Axness Named Banker of the Year

The group also gave Lifetime Service Awards to Gary De Master, president and chairman at Oostburg State Bank; Arlene White, assistant cashier at Walworth State Bank; and Charlene DeHaan, personal banker at Walworth State Bank, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.

Valley Bancorporation Founder Zuehlke Dies
Posted on October 8th, 2009 No commentsGus Zuehlke Sr. joined the small Appleton (Wis.) State Bank after World War II, becoming president and founding Valley Bancorporation. Over the years Valley acquired more than 160 banks and branches before it was bought in 1993 by Marshall & Ilsley Bancorporation. Zuehlke died Oct. 5, 2009, at the age of 87. Kuehn Elected CBW Chairman
