Small Businesses See Tighter Credit
Posted on October 18th, 2009 No commentsWhile credit markets have loosened a year after the nation’s financial system nearly collapsed, a number of Wisconsin business owners say obtaining financing to grow and expand remains difficult if not impossible. Bankers are lending to creditworthy borrowers, but losses and increased regulatory scrutiny has made making loans “fraught with trepidation,” according to a story in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
