New Twist on ATM Skimming Reported
Posted on July 2nd, 2010 No commentsA new twist on an old scam has people missing money from their bank accounts as thieves are using new high-tech ATM skimmers to steal account information. In addition to the traditional skimming device placed into the card slot, clear plastic overlays are placed on top of the number pad to capture PINs, WFRV-Channel 5 in Green Bay reported.
