Three of Four Wis. Banks Profitable in Q3
Posted on November 24th, 2009 No commentsDeposits at Wisconsin banks were up 6.8 percent from the first nine months of last year, and the percentage of overdue loans decreased, according to new FDIC figures. At the same time, 69 of Wisconsin’s 281 state-chartered banks did not post a profit in the third quarter, and the ratio of non-current loans increased to 4.41 percent, reflecting the state’s stressed economic conditions.
