Madoff Scandal Hits Home
Posted on February 6th, 2009 No commentsA 162-page list of people believed to be victims of Bernard Madoff’s alleged $50 billion Ponzi scheme included five individuals from Wisconsin, along with one business, Madison National Life Insurance Co. of Madison. But many of the people who lost money with Madoff did so through investment “feeder” funds, so their names would not have been listed individually in Madoff’s books, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.
